The average Espresso Drive-thru Business sells approximately 200-300 Cups of Espresso and Coffee Based Drinks per day.Sep 12, 2015 (Source: quora)
I drink coffee everyday, sometimes several times a day. Over time this can get very expensive! Even brewing my morning coffee and going for ice drinks and frappe’s mid-day was adding up. It was actually my Mom, who only drinks frappe’s who suggested she start making them at home. After watching several YouTube videos, we went to Macy’s and got their cheapest espresso machine, $30! Willow (mom) already had a blender, you just need one good enough to crush ice. The steps are simple, ingredients all together depending where you live only $30 and last a good amount of time!
Steps will depend on your blender and espresso machine! Guideline is same! 🙂
- Empty both ice trays into blender, crush until fine. Add the chocolate and caramel sauce.
- Add your choice cappuccino flavoring, moms is hills double mocha. Three scoops.
- Next let’s get our espresso going!
Make sure in any machine to pack it down tight. A good tip to know when it’s out of good espresso is when it’s see through.
- Place with ice and flavorings and blend together till it has the thickness or smoothness you like.
- I like to add chocolate to the bottom of the cup!
- Add straw and enjoy.
What a cool way to minimize spending. Frappes sometimes cost more than how they really should be but usually, we don’t have a choice cause we are in dire need of that caffeine fix. Thanks for sharing this! 🙂

Not to mention the avoided effort of creating something when you can have the luxury of having it readily available. Haha! But having the alternative surely is a help! 🙂

Thanks for the follow, Ellie. Great post! I have never had a Mocha Frappe. Just a straight dark roast kinda guy. Should get my youngest to make me one. He’s a part-time Barista at Starbucks in the big city! Dave 🙂

This is awesome! I make iced coffee (vietnamese coffee) and mostly drink black coffee or coffee with cream. This is great. I had a machine, but in several moves, it got lost somewhere along the way. This looks so good! My daughter and I will go have a coffee made somewhere once in awhile. It’s difficult to choke down how pricey they can be out. But once in a while is okay! 🙂 Cute post! Take care! Koko:)

This reminds me of one of my favorite drinks while I was pregnant – a cup of decaf coffee blended with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a scoop of chocolate protein powder, and a banana. I swear I had that every single day during my pregnancy! And now I’m craving it again… 🙂 Haha. Looks delicious. Love your blog!
